Every price and time on this page comes from our price list and route data, not from an estimate.
Every price below is for the whole car, VAT included, at any hour of the day or night. It is set per zone pair, not by a meter, so the number you see when you book is the number you pay. The table shows the saloon, which takes up to 4 passengers, and the van, which takes 5 to 8.

The price is the same in the other direction. Every pair on the island, including the villages not listed here, is on the prices page, and the booking form shows the exact price for your two points before you type a name.
What the price includes
The whole car for your group and its luggage, not a seat in a shared van. VAT, with the split shown on the receipt. The driver's waiting time: 60 minutes at the airport from the actual landing, 30 minutes at Athinios from docking, 15 minutes at a hotel or an address. The name sign, the driver following your flight when you give the number, and the bags carried to hotels the car cannot reach. And the same price by day and by night; there is no night rate.
Nothing is paid in the car. You pay online when you book, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the confirmation arrives at once.
How the price is fixed
The island is divided into 11 zones, each drawn around a main place: the airport, Athinios port, Fira, Imerovigli, Oia, Kamari, Perissa, Akrotiri, Megalochori, Messaria and Emporio. Each pair of zones has one price per car class. A hotel address falls into the zone it sits in, so two hotels in the same village pay the same fare, and a ride that starts and ends inside one zone, Fira to Firostefani for example, has its own short-hop price. The licence we drive under, tourist transport, is what allows a price agreed before the ride; there is no meter in the car.
When you need a van
The saloon takes up to 4 passengers. From the fifth passenger you need the van, which seats 5 to 8 and has a proper luggage bay. A family of four with a pram and a case each also travels better in the van. Groups of 9 to 20 book the minibus, and for anything larger we arrange a bus on request. The booking form only shows the cars that fit the number of passengers you enter, so you cannot book a car that is too small. The fleet page shows what each class carries.
A booked transfer or a taxi from the rank
A street taxi is a fine tool when you find one. The island has a few dozen licensed taxis, the ranks at the airport and Athinios empty when flights and ferries bunch, and at the rank you agree the fare with the driver before the ride. Card payment is not a given, and after dark the ranks are often empty.
A booked transfer is a private car with your name on a sign, a price fixed and paid before you travel, and a driver who is there for the real landing or docking time. The difference matters most on arrival with luggage, late at night, and for groups of five or more, who fit one van instead of two cars. For a short daytime hop between Fira and Firostefani, either works.
Prices by season
The price is fixed when you book, in any month. Summer changes the traffic on the caldera road, not the fare you paid. Whatever the date, the price the booking form shows for your ride is complete: VAT, waiting time and luggage are in it, and nothing is added in the car.
The next step
Check your own pair on the prices page, or go to the airport transfers and port transfers pages, which list the routes people book most. If your address is outside every zone, the form says so and we confirm the price by WhatsApp before you pay anything.
Questions
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. €40 from the airport to Oia covers up to 4 passengers in the saloon with their luggage. A group of 5 to 8 books the van at €55, and 9 to 20 people travel together in the minibus.
Do taxis in Santorini have a meter?
Our cars do not. The price is fixed per zone pair and car class, and you see it before you pay. At a street rank you agree the fare with the driver before the ride starts.
Is a taxi more expensive at night in Santorini?
Not with us. A pickup at 03:00 costs the same as a pickup at 15:00, at the airport, the port or a hotel. Book the pickup for the real landing or docking time and the driver is there.
How much is a return trip?
Two legs, each at the fixed price for its route, booked together with the second date and time. Airport to Oia and back is €40 each way for the saloon.
Do I tip the driver?
Tipping is optional and never expected. Everything is paid online before the ride, so nothing changes hands in the car unless you want it to.
