Santorini Taxi is a licensed tourist transport operator based in Fira. We drive airport, port and hotel transfers at fixed prices, 24 hours a day, all year, with drivers who speak English and Greek.
The person behind the phone
The dispatcher who answers the phone and WhatsApp has driven these roads for over 20 years. Every booking is assigned to a driver by hand, and the driver's name, car and plate reach you the day before pickup.
There is no call centre and no app between you and the car. The number on this site rings in Fira, at any hour.
How we work
- Fixed prices per route and car, VAT included, the same at 03:00 as at 15:00. No meter, no surprises at the door.
- The driver waits with your name on a sign: in the arrivals hall, at the foot of the port road, at the cable-car top station, or at your hotel.
- Flights are followed. Waiting is free for 60 minutes after landing, 30 minutes after a ferry docks, 15 minutes at a hotel.
- Cars are cleaned between rides and carry water and chargers. Child seats are fitted on request.
- Bookings are confirmed at once and cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup.
The drivers
Drivers who live on the island and know every hotel entrance, every one-way lane and every ferry queue. Profiles with first names and photos are being added.
- Every driver works under the operator's tourist transport licence and speaks English and Greek.
- The same drivers meet the night flights and the dawn ferries; nobody is subcontracted from an app.
- Every car carries the same air conditioning, water and chargers whoever drives, and nobody smokes in it, driver included.
