How it works
A private transfer is a car booked for your party alone, from the door of one place to the closest point a car can reach at the next, at a price fixed before you travel. This is the Santorini taxi service people look for when they want to move between hotels, get to a beach or a restaurant, or reach a village without waiting for a bus. Every price is for the whole car, VAT included, and the same day and night.
The widget takes any two places on the island: villages, hotels, beaches, restaurants or typed addresses. Each pair maps to a zone price, so Fira to Oia is €35 and Fira to Kamari is €30, and the price you see is the price you pay. Book with 12 hours' notice and the confirmation arrives at once; a reminder with the driver's name, car and plate follows 24 hours before pickup.
Pickups at hotels are at the lobby, or at the closest point a car can reach. In Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani and the pedestrian heart of Fira that point is where the road ends, and the driver carries the bags the rest of the way to hotels within a short walk. Waiting at a hotel or address is free for 15 minutes.
The saloon takes up to 4 passengers, the van takes 5 to 8, and the minibus carries 9 to 20. A higher-class saloon or van for up to 7 is available for the pairs that show a luxury price. Child seats are fitted on request, pets travel when you mention them at booking, and a folding wheelchair goes in the boot at no charge.
Return legs are booked as a second leg in the same booking, useful for a dinner in Oia or a day at Perissa. Anything sooner than 12 hours away, or a ride outside the price zones, is arranged by phone or WhatsApp.
Hotels in the pedestrian villages
Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani have pedestrian centres, and so does the heart of Fira. Cars stop where the road ends. The driver takes you to the closest point the road allows and carries the bags to hotels within a short walk; for houses deeper in the lanes, the hotel usually sends a porter to meet you. Give us the hotel name when you book so the driver picks the right stopping point, and for the pickup, be at the lobby or at the spot the hotel names.
Villas and addresses
Type any address on the island into the widget: a villa, an Airbnb, a restaurant. It maps to one of the price zones and the fixed price appears before you pay. A few addresses fall outside every zone; for those the widget shows a message and we confirm the price by WhatsApp. Add the gate colour, a landmark or a pin in the notes for villas on unnamed roads.
Evenings, sunset and late returns
The busiest hour on the island is the hour before sunset, when everyone on the caldera moves towards Oia. Book the outbound and the return in the same booking and the driver is at the agreed spot when dinner ends, at the same price after midnight as at noon. Fira to Oia is about 15 minutes on a quiet evening; in July and August the last stretch into Oia is slower.

Questions
Is this a taxi or a private transfer?
Both, in practice. We are licensed tourist transport, so every ride is booked in advance, the price is fixed with no meter, and the car is private to your party. The difference from a street taxi is that you know the price and the driver before the day, and online bookings are paid before you travel.
Can I book a transfer when we change hotels mid-stay?
Yes. Hotel to hotel is the most common private transfer we do. Tell us both hotel names, the driver collects you at the lobby or the closest point a car can reach, and the price is the fixed one for the two zones.
How do I get a price for a villa?
Type the address in the widget. It falls into a zone and the price shows at once. If the villa is outside every zone, the widget says so and we confirm the price by WhatsApp before you book.
Is there Uber or Bolt in Santorini?
No car service. The apps show licensed taxis at most, and the island has few of them. A pre-booked private transfer is the reliable way to move between villages, at a fixed price for the whole car.
Do you charge more at night?
No. The price is the same day and night, and we work 24 hours a day. A ride home from Oia after a late dinner costs the same as the ride out.
