How it works
Group transfers in Santorini are priced per vehicle, not per seat. One van for 5 to 8 passengers costs €40 from the airport to Fira, one minibus for 9 to 20 costs €65, VAT included, and the same price applies at night. Divide the price by the group and that is the fare per person.
The saloon takes up to 4 passengers. From the fifth passenger the van takes over, and from the ninth the minibus, which carries the whole group and its luggage in one vehicle so nobody stands on the pavement waiting for the second car. For groups beyond 20, a coach of up to 50 seats is arranged on request.
At the airport the driver waits inside the arrivals hall at the exit from the baggage area with a name sign and walks the group to the vehicle, which is parked a short walk away. At Athinios port the driver stands at the foot of the port road where passengers leave the ferry area. Waiting is free for 60 minutes after landing when we have the flight number, and for 30 minutes from docking at the port.
Minibuses stop where the roads narrow. In Oia the drop-off is at the bus square area on the main road; in Imerovigli, Firostefani and the pedestrian heart of Fira it is the closest point the road allows, and the driver helps carry bags to hotels within a short walk. In Kamari, Perissa and the inland villages the minibus reaches the hotel entrance in most cases.
Book online with 12 hours' notice and the confirmation arrives at once. A van or a minibus booked 7 or more days ahead gets 10% off the fare, taken off automatically before you pay, so in high season an early booking saves money as well as holding the vehicle. Wedding guests, conference delegates and cruise groups with several pickups are arranged by the form or WhatsApp, with one price for the whole plan.
Which vehicle for which group
Up to 4 passengers ride in the saloon. From the fifth passenger the van takes over, up to 8 people with a luggage bay behind the last row. From 9 to 20 the minibus carries the whole group in one vehicle with the luggage in the rear. A higher-class saloon or van for up to 7 is available for those who want it, and for groups beyond 20 we arrange a coach of up to 50 seats on request by the form or WhatsApp.
Tell us the number of suitcases when you book. A group of 8 with 8 large cases and a pram is more comfortable in the minibus than in a full van, and the widget lets you pick either.
Where a minibus can and cannot go
The pedestrian centres of Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani and the heart of Fira are closed to every vehicle, and the lanes leading to them are narrow. The driver stops at the closest point the road allows, in Oia at the bus square area on the main road, and the group walks the last few minutes with the driver helping with the bags. Give us the hotel name so the driver plans the nearest stop.
One minibus or two cars
A group of 9 fits one minibus or two saloons plus the luggage. The widget shows both prices for your route, so compare them; one vehicle keeps the group together and needs one meeting point at the airport, two cars can split when half the group is at a different hotel. Either way the driver meets you inside the arrivals hall or at the foot of the port road with a name sign.

Is the minibus price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, VAT included. €65 takes up to 20 people from the airport to Fira in one minibus, and €40 takes up to 8 in the van. Split the price by the group and that is the fare per person.
We are 9 people. Should we book two cars or one minibus?
Either works. Compare the minibus price with two saloons in the widget for your route. One minibus keeps everyone together and needs one meeting point; two cars can go to two hotels at once. Luggage matters too, so count the suitcases before you decide.
Can a minibus reach our hotel in Oia?
It reaches the bus square area on the main road, the closest any vehicle gets to the village. From there most hotels are a few minutes on foot and the driver helps with the bags to the ones within a short walk; hotels deeper in the lanes usually send a porter.
Do you have buses bigger than 20 seats?
Yes, coaches of up to 50 seats, on request. Send the date, the group size, the pickup and drop-off and the times by the form or WhatsApp and we come back with a vehicle and a price. Weddings, conferences and cruise groups are the usual cases.
How much notice does a minibus need?
Online bookings need 12 hours' notice and are confirmed at once. Book the van or the minibus 7 or more days ahead and 10% comes off the fare automatically, and in July and August the early booking also holds the vehicle for your date. For a pickup sooner than 12 hours away, call or WhatsApp.
