Wedding transportation in Santorini has one job: get the right people to the right place at the right minute, on an island where the venue is often at the end of a lane no bus reaches. We provide the bride's car, the cars for the wedding party, the minibus shuttles for the guests and the return runs after the party, and we do the same for proposals, corporate events and conferences. Venues on the caldera rim and inside the pedestrian villages stop cars short of the door. The drivers know the turning points and the nearest stops, and they walk guests the last part when the lane is too narrow. Sunset ceremonies mean the busiest hour of the day on the caldera road, so the shuttles leave earlier than the clock suggests, and the return after midnight costs the same as the ride out.

For a proposal, the driver keeps the plan quiet and delivers the couple to the spot at the agreed minute. For a conference, the plan is a timetable of airport meets, minibuses between hotel and venue, and cars on call, quoted as one price.

What wedding transport costs

The car waiting through the ceremony and the photographs is the hourly rate, €75 an hour for the luxury class and €45 for the saloon, 3 hours minimum. Guests from Fira to a reception in Oia ride in a van for up to 8 at €45 or a minibus for up to 20 at €75, and a coach of up to 50 seats is quoted by request. Every price is per vehicle and per leg, VAT included, the same after midnight, and the whole plan comes back to you as one written quote. Guest vans and minibuses booked 7 or more days ahead get 10% off.

Bride and wedding party

The bride's car goes from the hotel to the ceremony at the agreed minute, with the driver at the door early. A second car carries the parents and the wedding party ahead of the bride. After the ceremony the couple's car goes on to the reception, or waits through a photo session on the caldera and then goes on. Tell us the timings and we plan the cars around them, so that nobody is watching the road instead of the aisle.

Guest shuttles by minibus

Guests are spread across hotels in Fira, Imerovigli, Oia and the beach resorts, and the venue is often somewhere no bus goes. We collect them in minibuses of up to 20 from a list of hotels and times, in rotation if the group is large, and run the return shuttles after the party at night at the same price as by day. Venues on the caldera rim stop cars short of the door; the driver knows the nearest turning point and walks guests the last part.

Proposals

A proposal needs a car that arrives at the right spot at the right minute without giving the plan away. The driver knows the destination and the timing, and says nothing about either in the car. Sunset spots on the rim, a quiet drop-off near the chapel, a return after dark, all arranged by message beforehand with the person asking, and the other half of the couple sees only a normal ride. Airport meets for delegates with name signs, minibuses between the hotel and the venue on a timetable, cars on call for speakers, and the return to the airport or the port on the last day. Send the programme and the headcount and we quote the whole plan as one price per vehicle and day.

Questions

How far ahead should we book wedding transport?

As soon as the ceremony time and the venues are fixed. Vehicles for a date are held once the plan is confirmed, and in summer a minibus for a specific evening needs notice, so the earlier the plan reaches us the easier it is.

Can the car wait during the ceremony and the photos?

Yes. Tell us the timings and we quote the car for the whole afternoon, or book the car and driver by the hour so it stays with the couple from the hotel to the reception.

Can guests be collected from several hotels?

Yes. Give us the list of hotels and the time everyone should be at the venue, and we plan the pickups in order, in one minibus or several depending on the numbers. The return runs after the party are planned the same way.

Is there a night rate for the return after the party?

No. The price is the same day and night, and we run 24 hours a day, so the last shuttle after midnight costs the same as the first pickup in the afternoon.
